Procurement Manager - Sourcing and Contract Management

Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

An opportunity has arisen to join this globally renowned financial group who have an outstanding opportunity for an individual to oversee and guide both the Procurement and Contract Management Teams, ensuring optimal performance.

The Procurement team is tasked with securing supplier contracts that balance cost reduction, value engineering, and risk management for the Group, whilst the Contract Management Team is responsible for managing the performance of outsource partners and ensuring adherence to relationship management standards across the organisation

The individual in this role will provide direction and leadership to all direct reports while seeking opportunities to transform the function's delivery. This includes all sourcing activities, onboarding processes, local and central reporting, as well as governance and control.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Oversee the delivery of the Procurement & Supplier Management Committee.
  • Manage the annual sourcing activity program, including central expense and savings reporting.
  • Supervise all sourcing activities within the team's scope, including SSJ and direct negotiation activities, with responsibility for some major RFP contracts.
  • Ensure end-to-end policies, sourcing limits, procedures, and control frameworks are in place, regularly reviewed, and optimized to support the business's strategic aims.
  • Lead engagement with central and UK territory counterparts to ensure best practices and adherence to Group Norms.
  • Manage the Essential and Sensitive Suppliers list, the TPRM process, regulatory changes, and associated governance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations within the designated area of responsibility, embedding compliance within the business.
  • Take personal responsibility for health and safety while at work, ensuring the safety of oneself and others.
  • Participate in necessary training to enhance professional development and expertise.
  • Support and exemplify company values in all activities.
  • Stay informed about industry-wide developments and standards.
  • Adhere to Data Protection Legislation regarding the disclosure of information.
