Learning Support Assistant

Location: East Birmingham
£80-£85 Per Day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

ABC Teachers are seeking passionate individuals to support children and young adults with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), as a Learning Support Assistant in a specialist school.
Your Role:

Collaborate with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.

Provide personalized support to students, adapting lessons to meet their needs.

Employ positive behaviour strategies to help students overcome challenges and thrive.

Foster both academic progress and social development.

The desired Lesson Support Assistant will have;

A minimum of 1 years' experience in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting or equivalent personal experience supporting individuals with learning needs.

A valid DBS on the update service, or a willingness to complete a DBS check.

A commitment to supporting and caring for young people with physical and learning challenges.

The ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a classroom environment.
