About the Role:
Zest is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising automated systems across the site. If you have a passion for industrial automation and a strong background in Allen & Bradley/Rockwell and SCADA systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain and improve PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance.
-Diagnose and resolve automation faults, minimising downtime.
-Work on system upgrades and modifications to enhance efficiency.
-Provide technical support during callouts and planned maintenance.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation improvements.
-Supervise a team of engineers ensuring team is working safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
-Proven experience working with Allen & Bradley/Rockwell or SEW.
-Programming with SCADA system Wonderware (beneficial)
-Strong electrical background
-Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and fault-finding.
-Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve automation-related issues.
-Willingness to participate in an on-call rota as required.
