We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting children's learning across various subjects, including Maths, Creative Writing, and Physical Education. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate and educate students of different ages, particularly those in preschool and special education settings. The Tutor will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assist students with homework, projects, and exam preparation across subjects such as Maths and Creative Writing.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to promote confidence in students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to support children with special educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
  • Encourage creativity and critical thinking through interactive activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with preschool-aged children or those requiring special education support.
  • Strong knowledge of educational best practices in subjects such as Maths and Creative Writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children.
  • A background in Childcare or related fields is desirable.
  • Ability to create a fun, engaging, and educational environment for children.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for educating young learners.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
