The School and Role

An Alternative Provision school based in Christchurch are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The school caters for primary and secondary age pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour. 聽

The successful SEMH Support Assistant will be required to work 1-1 or in small classes ranging from Year 1 to Year 11, assisting pupils academically as well as overcoming barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally.

Requirements聽

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
