We are currently seeking an ICT Business Partner/Product Manager for a temporary role in the public sector. This position is based in Croydon, London.

Our client requires a dedicated individual to function as the interface between the service and IT, specifically in adult social care. As a hybrid role between a product manager and a business partner, you will be responsible for developing digital, data, and technology solutions to enable the achievement of business opportunities.

This is a full-time position with a daily rate of £450 Umbrella (inside IR35). The contract is initially for 3 months, with the possibility of extension for 6 months. Although this is a hybrid role you will need to visit the offices in Croydon on average twice a week, possibly slightly more at the beginning to meet everyone.

Key activities and outputs include:

  • Contributing to ASCH service and project boards and governance groups to understand the extent of change.
  • Creating and shaping roadmaps for all systems used across the service.
  • Linking roadmaps to service plans and priorities.
  • Planning and coordinating system improvement projects and their transition into production.
  • Coordinating both planned and ad hoc system training.
  • Championing systems governance initiatives.
  • Liaising with users and suppliers.

You will report directly to the Interim Head of Specialist Systems within CDS, although the role is funded by the ASCH Transformation bid. Work planning and achievement will be jointly agreed upon by the Head of Improvement and Head of Specialist Systems.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and collaboration skills and have a solid understanding of both business and technology. Experience in adult social care or a similar field is highly desirable.
