Service / PDI Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience, certifications and productivity)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (5-day week) - No Weekends!

We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Service / Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our team. This is a key role requiring someone who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality work with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and precision. You will be working on used cars, of all makes and models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out thorough and meticulous pre-sale servicing and pre-delivery inspections

  • Ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards with no room for error

  • Use and interpret car electronics and diagnostic machines effectively

  • Follow guided diagnostics and manufacturer-specific procedures with accuracy

  • Maintain a neat, tidy, and organised working environment

  • Deliver work at a high level of quality and consistency, with minimal or no comebacks

Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence

  • Competent in using vehicle diagnostics and electronics tools

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong organisational skills

Desired Qualities:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a dealership or fast-paced workshop

  • Relevant certifications and training are an advantage

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
