Nursery Manager

Acer Recruitment are currently recruiting for oneof their favourite clients a Nursery Manager to join their team

They are a private 50 place day nursery located within a park in Sanderstead Surrey. Theyare looking for a hardworking, ambitious, motivated, experienced and friendlyManager. They must also have great sense of humour to help them achieve a wonderful learning experience for children, family and staff.

The applicant would need:

Minimum three years management experience in childcare setting

As a minimum be qualified to NVQ level 3

Ability to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload

A sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures

Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Be able to work within a small team

Ofsted / EYFS experience and knowledge essential especially with new changes

Bestrong in building relationship skills with children, staff, parents and guardians

A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable

The applicant will need a current, clear DBS

To work 41 hours between Monday to Friday each week.

Nursery open for 50 weeks a year

5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata plus paid bank holidays and paid week between Christmas and New year.

Salary dependant on experience £36,244.00 - £38,376.00 per annum
