Principal Speech and Language Therapist

Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Principal Speech and Language Therapist to join one of our Trusts in London.

The post holder will provide appropriate highly specialist intervention to all adult patients referred for communicationand/or swallowing problems and evaluate outcomes including ability to lead some of the videofluoroscopy assessment clinics run weekly in the Trust.

The Vacancy is M-F, Full Time

Salary: £36/h

What you'll need as a Principal Speech and Language Therapist :

  • Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications and experience with dysphasia patients
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
