The role
A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs school in Stockport is seeking to appoint a full time SEND Teacher to deliver a SEND curriculum to students with complex educational needs. Ability levels can vary considerably and a willingness to deliver more than one curriculum area is desired for the role of SEND Teacher. You will be joining a new state of the art school with advanced resources and you will have access to an exceptional training package that will support you in developing your specialist SEND skill-set.


Requirements
The desired SEND Teacher will have:

  • Experience working within a SEND school or with children/young people with physical or learning disabilities of some sort is essential for this teaching role.
  • SEND teaching experience is strongly preferred – primary / EYFS experience desirable.
  • Possess a recognised UK teaching qualification
  • QTS 
  • Experience of teaching SEND students with complex communication and educational needs.
  • The skills to help complex SEND students succeed following a multi-disciplinary approach.
