The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material handling equipment, logistics, or a related industry.This role plays a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, optimising service and parts performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute aftersales strategies in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Lead aftersales planning to support organisational growth and profitability.
  • Optimise processes, systems, and procedures to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management, inventory control, and equipment handling.
  • Set high standards by identifying performance gaps and driving best practices.
  • Manage inventory and logistics for spare parts, ensuring availability and timely delivery to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling aftersales services, including maintenance contracts, extended warranties, and training programmes.
  • Utilise analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as service turnaround times, customer satisfaction scores, and revenue metrics.
  • Leverage data insights to implement informed improvements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of aftersales managers and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key suppliers and customers to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Ensure operational practices support exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and business planning activities.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.
