Location: Lopen, Somerset

If you're an experienced Production Team Leader eager to take on new challenges, we want YOU to be part of our client's dynamic team!

As a Production Senior Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our client's operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork across their two production facilities. With the full support of the Production Manager, you'll lead from the frontā€”driving efficiency, optimising processes, and inspiring your team to reach new heights.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate your team to smash business goals.
  • Boost efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Champion safety & compliance, ensuring strict adherence to procedures and protocols.
  • Drive Performance Excellence Initiatives within Operations.
  • Empower your team with lean methodologies like 5Y, DMAIC, and more.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration.
  • Execute continuous improvement projects that push us forward.
  • Investigate & resolve safety, quality, performance, and conduct issues.
  • Step up as Production Manager when needed.
  • Cover shifts for fellow Team Leaders during holidays, training, or absences.

What We're Looking for:

  • Proven experience in leading & inspiring teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • A mechanical/machine operative background with a solid grasp of lean manufacturing & continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated facility (or similar, e.g., BRC, ISO9001, BETA NOPS).
  • A formal qualification in lean/continuous improvement? That's a plus!
