The Michael Page public sector finance team are in search of a skilled Corporate Accountant to join a successful team to take responsibility for the planning and reporting of the company's financial position, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Lead and motivate 1-2 Management Accountants
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management
Profile
A successful Corporate Accountant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in leading a team and managing financial operations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
