Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent CNC Machinist with experience in CNC Turning and proficiency in Fanuc programming.
The position offers a permanent contract with a salary of £XX,000 per year and requires candidates to have prior experience in CNC Turning.
Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Turning machines, modifying programs, and inspecting manufactured parts for compliance with engineering drawings.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, use measuring equipment, and possess flexibility to work in various areas of the business.

The Job You’ll Do;

You will be responsible for the setting and operating of CNC Turning machines (Mori Seiki, Okuma, CMZ)
Modify & edit programs as & when required.
Measure & inspect the parts you manufacture to ensure compliance with drawings.
Be able to work as an individual or part of a team.

About You;

You must be able to demonstrate experience in CNC Turning.
Extensive knowledge of FANUC program & controls.
Be capable of reading & interpreting engineering drawings & tolerances.
Be proficient in the use of all types of measuring equipment, e.g. micrometeors, verniers, bore clocks etc.
Computer literate.
Flexibility is a must; you will be required to move & work in other areas of the business as load dictates.
