Lees Premier Cleaning, a reputable family-run business with over 300 dedicated employees, is seeking a fully experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our Payroll Manager and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Payroll Manager with the 4-weekly pay process
- Process payroll for employees accurately and meet deadlines
- Calculate and process deductions such as attachments of earnings
- Understand and apply statutory payments including maternity, paternity, sick pay, and national minimum wage
- Assist with the Auto Enrollment scheme, specifically The Peoples Pension
- Liaise with HMRC regarding payroll matters
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
Requirements:
- Fully experienced in payroll processing
- Understanding of statutory payments and payroll regulations
- Experience dealing with HMRC
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Sage Payroll preferred but not essential
