- Supporting students with a range of SEN/SEMH needs, ensuring their individual learning plans are followed
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Helping students develop essential social and emotional skills
- Providing 1:1 or small group support as required
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons
- Previous experience working within a SEN/SEMH setting is essential
- A positive and patient approach to supporting children with complex needs
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the needs of the school
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
