CNC Operator

CNC Operator needed in South Woodham Ferrers.

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC /Machine Operative to join their team and manage night shift operations.

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Shifts: Mon - Thu:  17.00 – 05.00 (night shift)

Type: Temporary to permanent

Location: South Woodham Ferrers (Own transport required)

Please note an interview will be required prior to start date

Duties:

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components as per technical specifications.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Interpret technical drawings to determine appropriate machine settings and procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and promptly address any machine malfunctions.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans to enhance machine longevity and performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machine operation and programming.
• Strong proficiency with CNC tools and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and manage night shift operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
