Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate
Location: South Woodham Ferrers CM3 (Due to the location, own transport is required)
Job Description:
We’re recruiting a Machine Assistant to join a busy production team in South Woodham Ferrers. It’s a great chance to start or grow your career in manufacturing. Full training provided, and experience with wood or acrylic is a bonus.
Opportunity to become a fully trained Machine Operative with a salary review after training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting machine operators with daily tasks
- Loading and unloading materials
- Monitoring machinery and ensuring smooth operation
- General support in the workshop/production area
Knowledge & Skills:
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- Experience with wood or acrylic is beneficial
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow health & safety procedures
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Be reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Be eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Have their own transport due to the location
