An outstanding Secondary School located in the London Borough of Ealing are looking to secure a school receptionist to start asap on long term assignment

The School

This school is an outstanding non-selective secondary school located in the London borough of Ealing. They have been an outstanding school for the last decade and have consistently achieved excellent exam results putting them in the top 5% for student progress. Many of the children who attend the school go to study at Russell brick universities.

They have fantastic modern facilities in a university campus layout, extensive IT facilities, large outdoor playing fields and one of the largest post 16 centres in London.

School Receptionist

The school are looking to secure a School Receptionist to start immediately on a contract basis .The role will be working 08:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The main duties will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all school visitors including parents and children.
  • Responding to phone and email enquiries as and when needed
  • Using SIMS to locate pupils
  • Supporting office staff with general administrative duties
  • Managing inbound and outbound post
  • Typing letters as and when required
  • Liaising with parents and external agencies

Experience needs

  • Previous school-based receptionist experience would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Switched on and able to use their own initiative.
  • Great organisations skills and ability to use the Microsoft packages.
