Reed is acting on behalf of a Retail company who are looking an Accounts & Finance Manager. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of their organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you will be responsible for financial management, accounting, and strategic financial planning. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your leadership skills to guide the finance team while ensuring effective cost control and management of accounts payable. Your expertise in financial services will be essential in driving the organisation towards its financial goals and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee daily financial operations and guide the finance team in various financial activities including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
- Conduct strategic financial analysis and planning to forecast the organisation's financial performance and advise on long-term business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and effective cost control measures.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate finance teams.
- Expertise in financial planning and analysis.
- Thorough knowledge of financial services and regulations.
