The school - SEN Teaching Assistant
The specialist SEN school in the Ealing area is focused on supporting pupils aged between 11- to 19-year-old students with moderate to severe Learning difficulties and associated complexities. The school accommodates approximately 70-80 students and a restricted group size to ensure each student’s pathway and program is individually catered for and supplements this with a strict teacher-to student ratio. All pupils are post ECHP. It is located near excellent public transport links with limited staff parking in place.
The role - SEN Teaching Assistant
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have had previous experience of working with students with severe behavioral issues and come from a school background where challenging behavior is part of everyday school life. The role would require you to work 1:1 with secondary SEN students from troubled backgrounds as well as group work both indoors and outdoors.
