This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading audits, working closely with clients, and mentoring junior team members within a supportive and high-performing firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing training and mentorship.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
- Preparing financial statements in line with relevant reporting standards.
- Ensuring compliance with audit regulations and best practices.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency.
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level).
- At least three years’ previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
- Strong experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
