Venture Recruitment is partnered with a growing manufacturing business in its search for a diligent and proactive Management Accountant to provide crucial financial support to the group. This is a stable and varied role, ideal for an experienced accountant looking to manage a small team and contribute significantly to the business's continued growth.
This role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with one to two days per week in Southampton and occasional travel to the Farnborough offices.Key Responsibilities:Â
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyse financial data and trends to provide meaningful insights.
- Assist with responding to audit queries, providing audit samples, and liaising with auditors.
- Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in management accounting processes.
- HMRC reporting, including VAT via MTD, p11Ds, etc.
- Processing payroll on a weekly basis
- Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
- Credit Control
 Key Skills and Experience:Â
- Experience within the industry at a minimum of Management Accountant level
- Accountant qualified, whether by experience (min 3 years) or professional Qualification
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Payroll Expe
- Ability to work independently.
