Role Responsibilities
  • Producing statutory accounts, consolidated accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, and payroll
  • Providing expert advice to clients regarding UK companies and partnerships
  • Offering technical guidance and support to junior members of the accounting team
  • Keeping up to date with changing accounting regulations and ensuring clients understand the impact
  • Preparing and presenting management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cashflows
  • Assisting in process improvement and documenting working processes to maintain quality standards
  • Implementing new accounting systems and training client staff
  • Engaging in business development activities and networking to generate new business opportunities

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or part-qualified
  • At least two years of experience within an accountancy practice
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proven experience preparing accounts for clients
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work effectively
