Senior School Admin Officer - Southampton - ASAP start

37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year - £24,795 - £27,281 (term-time salary) - Permanent positionAcademics are seeking an experienced Senior School Administration Officer to join a special school in Southampton. The school provides education for children and young people aged 2-19 years with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties, many of whom have autism.They are looking to appoint a hardworking and efficient Senior Admin Officer to join and lead their friendly school office team. The role of Senior Admin Officer is central to the effective running of the school's day to day communication and administration in our busy school office. This is a varied role and an exciting opportunity for the right person.Experience in school administration is essential and have experience of using a schools SIMs package, ideally Arbor. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work quickly, be self-motivated, flexible, trustworthy and have excellent organisation skills. You need to be able to communicate at all levels and be committed to supporting the welfare of the children.Managing a small team, you will be required to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support ensuring that a high quality and effective service is delivered at all times, including providing administrative support for the Headteacher and Senior Leaders.You will also need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle as the school is split across two sites.If you are an experienced School Admin Assistant and you are immediately available, please can you send me your updated CV.
