An exciting Hybrid opportunity is available for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a small R&D team based in Southampton, Hampshire.
You will be working on new R&D products and will be a key member of the development team, working on the design of exciting products for a wide range of applications in the defence sector.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job in Southampton, Hampshire:
- Take customer requirements and work with the wider team to establish how to develop new products
- Design custom electronic boards, verify and test
- Liaise with customers to assist with integration and problem resolution
Key skills/experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job in Southampton, Hampshire:
- Proven significant experience in electronics design – analogue, digital and PCB design
- Board design including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers, memory devices, programmable logic, power supplies, wireless communications
