Page Personnel is supporting a Southampton based employment services business with their recruitment of a Finance Administrator to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temp to perm basis. The role works within a team of 8 and reports to the Finance Manager. This position is ideal for someone who has strong admin skills ideally within a finance setting or is mathematically minded.

Client Details

Our client based in central Southampton has gone through a tremendous period of growth and is adding to their team. You will be required to go into the office for training and then will need to go to the office 1-2 times per month. The offices are located to close by public transport links.

Description

As the Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting and processing financial information into the data base
  • Completing some financial calculations
  • Using Excel to generate reports
  • Dealing with queries
  • Managing the inbox
  • Liaising closely with other departments to share financial information

Profile

In order to be considered for the Finance Administrator role, you must:

  • Have ideally worked in an admin role before
  • Be mathematically minded
  • Be able to start work at the end of Nov/start of Dec
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Be able to clearly communicate - written and verbal
  • Have strong attention to detail
