Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a Night Delivery Driver to join a client specializing in distributing milk and dairy products. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering products to residential areas around Southampton.
About the Role:
- Schedule: Sunday to Friday (6 nights a week)
- Start Time: Between 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM (8-12-hour shifts)
- Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
- Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering milk and dairy products to residential areas in and around Southampton.
- Loading the van with pre-packed products.
- Completing 150-200 deliveries per shift.
- Following planned routes and completing deliveries within designated timeframes.
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
- Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries is preferred.
- Own transport to commute to and from work.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude towards work.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, with a supportive team always available.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
