Were seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a team delivering a range of complex organisational change. This is a part-time role for 25 hours per week, preferably over 4 days, but flexible. Key Tasks

  • Strong experience in transformation and restructuring (attending consultation meetings/answering questions at consultation meetings/Job Evaluation/ advising on process and policy.
  • Discussions with Trade Unions). Delivering complex and contentious information to senior managers / upwardly influencing / managing expectations and risk
  • Presenting data and information at Senior Leadership meetings
  • You will play a key role in the implementation of appropriate HR and OD interventions that support employee engagement and performance outcomes.

Candidates

  • As an experienced Senior HR Professional, Senior HR Advisor, you will work closely with the HR Business Partners to provide a trusted and professional service.
  • Members of CIPD - post grad level qualified or equivalent experience.
  • To understand people management practice and have significant experience of advising managers in a large, complex organisation.
  • To have experience of researching and writing HR policies.
  • To demonstrate the ability to undertake training needs analysis and to develop HR workshops.
  • To understand the principles of workforce planning and how this contributes to organisational effectiveness. -
  • To demonstrate understanding of equality issues in the workplace. -
  • To demonstrate experience of managing positive employee relations, including working with and negotiating with Trades Union representatives. -
  • To have knowledge and experience of applying models and processes relating to change.
  • To have experience of interpreting and presenting HR data and information to enable effective decision-making.
  • To have a proven ability to build effective working relationships with a range of voluntary, private and public sector partners and stakeholders to deliver shared objectives
  • To have the ability to provide balanced professional HR advice and guidance to managers.

The Offer

  • The role is offered on a temporary contract basis, working via Hays until 31st March 2025.
  • Part-Time - 25 hours, preferably over 4 days. The days worked can be negotiated.
