Driver Hire Southampton is seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers for our client's team, delivering palletised goods across the beautiful South Coast. If you're a reliable and dedicated driver with a knack for excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Overview:
- Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm, Monday through Friday
- Deliveries: Multidrop to both residential and commercial locations
- Start Times: Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM (10-12 hour shifts)
- Key Duties:
- Handle paperwork and/or use handheld devices
- Load and unload palletised goods using a tail lift and pump truck
- Drive a curtain sider with a tail lift safely and responsibly
- Follow company health and safety policies
- Complete daily vehicle checks
What We're Looking For:
- Licence: Full UK Class 2 driving licence
- Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of driving, ideally with multidrop experience
- Skills: Strong timekeeping, communication, and customer service skills
- Additional: Previous strapping experience is a bonus
- Transport: Own vehicle to commute to/from work
