Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver!
Driver Hire Southampton is expanding its fleet and is on the lookout for dedicated Class 2 HGV drivers to work with a prestigious new client based in the Southampton area. If you are passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, this opportunity is for you!
Position Overview:
As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of our community by collecting bin bags along a designated route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start your day between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday
- Undertake 8-hour shifts, ensuring timely collection of bin bags
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle and handle physical tasks, including lifting bin bags into a dustcart vehicle
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Full UK driving licence
- Possess a Class 2 (CAT C) licence
- Be physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting
- Hold a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Have your own transport to commute to and from work
- Have a minimum of 6 months of Class 2 driving experience
- Exhibit excellent timekeeping skills
