Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for a specialist Class 1 Driver position. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering silo systems to major construction sites across the UK. You will receive comprehensive training to ensure you operate equipment safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards.
Information about this role:
- Permanent position
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays in busy periods)
- 6:00am start time
- 40-hour week (plus overtime)
- Transporting dry silo systems to customer locations (construction sites) with specialised lorry-mounted lifting equipment
- Refilling the silos using advanced powder tanker technology
- You will be required to drive both Class 2 and Class 1 vehicles
What we require from you as a Class 1 Driver:
- Full UK Class 1 driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Outstanding customer service and time keeping skills
- Experienced and newly qualified drivers welcome to apply
- Previous experience in similar role is advantageous
