- Operate extrusion or injection molding machines to produce plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure the machine is running efficiently and safely.
- Set up machines, including loading and unloading molds, adjusting settings, and testing machine functions before production starts.
- Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot issues with the machines, including minor repairs and adjustments, to minimize downtime.
- Record and report production data, including output, downtime, and maintenance issues.
- Work closely with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure product quality and machine uptime.
- Follow all company policies and guidelines for health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
