Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an Electrical (working) Supervisor on a water treatment site in Southampton

This is a contract position starting in the New Year, read below for full details:
  • Start: 20th-27th January 2025
  • Duration: 3 Months+
  • Rate: £30p/hour (always subject to skills/experience)
  • Hours: 42-45 per week
Candidate Requirements:
  • SSSTS
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Certification
  • JIB Gold Card/18th Edition
  • Relevant Apprenticeship/NVQ etc.
  • Previous water sector experience is essential
  • Demonstratable experience as a supervisor
Job Outline:
  • Oversee the day-to-day workload of the site team, including task delegation by the Project Engineer, managing tooling, paperwork and time management.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of electricians and technicians on site, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
  • Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ensure that the electrical team meets performance, quality, and time-related targets.
  • Conduct inspections and supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all electrical work is carried out in strict adherence to Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and relevant regulation
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical tasks to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
