Service Advisor - Main Dealer, Hedge End
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a prestigious Main Dealer in Hedge End. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and have a background in the automotive sector, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Information:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 1 in 8 Saturdays - a rare advantage in the automotive industry
- Salary between 28,000 to 32,000, with bonuses and overtime
- OTE of 35,000 to 38,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing their vehicle service and repair needs
- Provide accurate information on service timelines, costs, and additional work required
- Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle status, and follow-up requirements
- Upsell additional services and products, contributing to department revenue
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a high level of professional service at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
- IT literacy, including experience with dealership management software (Kerridge, Pinnacle, etc.)
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
