Service Advisor - Main Dealer, Hedge End

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a prestigious Main Dealer in Hedge End. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and have a background in the automotive sector, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Information:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 8 Saturdays - a rare advantage in the automotive industry
  • Salary between 28,000 to 32,000, with bonuses and overtime
  • OTE of 35,000 to 38,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing their vehicle service and repair needs
  • Provide accurate information on service timelines, costs, and additional work required
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle status, and follow-up requirements
  • Upsell additional services and products, contributing to department revenue
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a high level of professional service at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
  • IT literacy, including experience with dealership management software (Kerridge, Pinnacle, etc.)
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential
