Teaching Assistant - with an interest in Art and PSHE - Southampton - ASAP Start!Academics are looking for a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant/HLTA who has an interest in Art and PSHE. They are looking for someone with the confidence and the drive to get involved with delivering small sessions and support the teachers. This is a full-time, on-going contract, ideally temp to perm. You will be joining a provision set up in Southampton City Centre which caters for vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs such as autism. They are an Alternative Provision which opened in September 2022. They aim to give students in Key Stages 4 and 5 an opportunity to access both academic and vocational qualifications.As well as obtaining recognised qualifications they are also committed to preparing students for employment and adulthood pathways through bespoke curriculum's and supported work experience.If you are confident and enjoy working with young people with challenging behaviours and feel this role is of interest to you, please apply and send us a copy of your up to date CV.
