We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Southampton that is looking for either long-term, short-term or part-time role. The suitable candidates will have experience of supporting children in school and must be able to manage behaviour and motivate students in class.We are looking for a teaching assistant who is able to;

  • Provide assistance and supervision for children during the school day
  • Assist children to understand and participate in class
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with students if necessary
  • Help to build confidence and motivation
  • Adapt to various tasks and needs
  • Live locally to / be able to travel into Southampton

As you may be required to cover at different schools in and around the Southampton area having your own transport is desirable but not essential.
