Your Company:An Engineering Services business are searching for a Junior Field Engineer with fuel exposure to join their team in the Greater Southampton area. As a business that provides both engineering products and a service solution line, the company is expanding and propelling its service function forwards, keen to ensure that it has a dedicated team of engineers that are able to deliver an excellent level of service to customers.The position holder will be joining a growing team and will be supporting already established engineers, who they can learn from, with fuel engineering related tasks, carried out at customer sites. There will be excellent scope to grow within this role, and the company have said that the incumbent may well see themselves in a lead engineering position within a couple of years.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Supporting engineering work, both planned and unplanned as needed at customers sites
  • Developing knowledge of how fuel systems work, types of fuel contaminations and how this can impact quality
  • Maintaining quality assurance standards, and following health and safety rules and regulations at all times
  • On occasion, undertaking work in confined spaces
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have a valid driving license and a confined space qualification, as well as some engineering experience, preferably within a fuel related role. Applicants must have strong communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.  What you will get in Return:For the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £30,000, dependent on the level of previous experience will be available.
