LRL are currently looking for 15 x Industrial Electricians to start work ASAP in Southampton.

Our client is looking for Industrial Electricians to work on an Industrial project in Southampton. The work will involve the glanding and termination of cables on a manufacturing site.

Details

  • Number Required: Approximately 15 Electricians/Approved Electricians possibly more.
  • Start Date: Ideally Monday 21/10/2024 (short week, see details below) - or the following Monday 28/10/2024 (long week, see details below)
  • Duration of work: 12-16 weeks approximately
  • Rates: Undertaking via the NAECI Agreement / (Blue Book)
  • Working Pattern: Currently site working via - 11 - Day Fortnight pattern - (However we are looking to go to a 13 -1 Rotation pattern within the next 2 to 4 weeks)
  • NB : Overtime will not be mandatory but is available
  • Duties: Containment, glanding, terminating, cable install, clipping etc. The work is on a Refinery so familiarisation with certified equipment and Hawke glands is preferable.

Working Week

Currently site working via - 11 - Day Fortnight pattern - (However we are looking to go to a 13 -1 Rotation pattern within the next 2 to 4 weeks)

Long week

  • Monday start time: 7am in overalls ready for work clock out 1820hrs at present.
  • Sunday finish time: 1720hrs at present

Short week

  • Monday start time: 7am in overalls ready for work clock out 1820hrs at present.
  • Thursday finish time: If the full 11 day cycle has been achieved, 1230hrs finish, if not 1820hrs.

Length of Breaks/Lunch: 1030-1040 tea break, 1400-1430 lunch. No other breaks. Short week Thursday, no break for those going at 1230hrs.

Requirements

  • Must be either JIB approved / approved electrician and have fully met the grade
  • Experience in industrial environment / electrics is essential
  • Must have had two years' experience working as an Electrician subsequent to the satisfactory completion of training and immediately prior to the application for this grade.
  • Full UK Driving License is ideal but not essential.

Rates - All rates are paid strictly PAYE

  • Basic - £23.64 (Monday-Thursday first 38 hours)
  • OTA - £32.15 (Monday-Thursday after 38 hours / First 4 hours on Saturday)
  • OTB - £40.66 (Over 4 hours on Saturday / Sunday Hours)

BREAKDOWN OF RATES

  • Monday - Friday Basic = 38 x £23.64 = £898.32
  • Monday - Friday OTA = 15 x £32.15 = £482.25
  • SAT OTA = 4 x £32.15 = £128.60
  • SAT OTB = 6 x £40.66 = £243.96
  • SUN OTB = 9 x £40.66 = £365.94
  • Digs = 7 x £48.16

Total with Digs = £2456.19 / Average Rate over 72 hours - £34.11

Total without Digs = £2119.07 / Average Rate over 72 hours - £29.43
