Your Company:A business operating within the chemicals sector is seeking a Personal Assistant in the Southampton area to support the company CEO. Working specifically within cleaning and wastewater treatment products and services, this business has the mission of creating a healthier and safer world by actioning key environmental concerns across the globe.This role is a part-time opportunity, with 20-25hrs per week and is also on a contractual basis, with the view to becoming permanent in the future.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the gathering of information via identifying relevant research
  • Assisting with general office tasks, including organising documents, scanning and filing
  • Proactively managing incoming phone calls, emails and other forms of communication as needed
  • Accurately maintaining the office calendars, including coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Making arrangements for travel and accommodation for the CEO and other members of senior management
  • Maintaining the office environment in a professional and clean manner, ensuring everything is organised and structured, and that office supplies are topped up as needed, and equipment maintained via keen communication with vendors
  • Supporting with ad-hoc administrative and general office tasks to support the team, as well as with external international services for other sites as required
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced within a similar role, whereupon they have built excellent organisational and communication skills, particularly in written form such as reports. The company has requested that the position holder be able to speak French. Applicants should also have superb internet research skills, particularly within identifying and gathering relevant information across a wide range of topics. Previous vendor communication experience would be vital, particularly in procuring the best prices for products to support services. Familiarity with search techniques using Google, as well as AI-specific tools and additional research databases is required. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and any other software would be valuable.  What you will get in Return:For the successful candidate a salary of up to £30,000 pro rata is available, alongside other additional perks and rewards, including a fair holiday allocation and pension and the potential for incentives such as healthcare as well.
