An excellent opportunity to join one of the South Coast’s most established brands, with over 175 years' successful trading as a privately owned business. Operating a number of retail/wholesale outlets and providing a range of project support services, the company has played a key role in a number of landmark construction projects across the region.This is a newly created role to enhance existing commercial operations. You will benefit from the opportunity to mould and shape your position from day one. You'll work closely with teams across the business to provide meaningful insights, drive performance, and add real value.Reporting to the Commercial Director, your responsibilities will include:
  • Pricing strategy and leadership to inspire, and business partner with, a team of commercial managers across multiple categories
  • Providing performance insights on pricing, sales and promotions to maximise opportunities and to minimise risks
  • Supplier optimisation to drive supplier deals and whilst ensuring range optimisation and inventory performance
  • Instilling robust forecasting and data analysis 
This is a key newly created role supporting the Commercial Director to drive business performance, efficiencies and expansion.What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Commercial Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst / Pricing Analyst / Finance Manager
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Excellent communication skills and the gravitas to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A natural curiosity and a knack for identifying areas for improvement
  • Advanced Excel skills
