CMA Executive brings a new opportunity for an accomplished CFO/FD to join an award winning and growing professional organisation on the south coast, on a 6 month interim basis. This long-established company has grown to be one of the largest professional services firms in the south, with a national and international reputation. This growth is further supported by a recent acquisition which will increase the workforce and continue to expand their operations in offices from the south coast to London, and the central region.

A new Finance Director is expected to partner with the Board to devise sound and achievable business strategy. This role will also need to provide excellent leadership to the 25 strong finance team.

What the Finance Director position will involve:

  • Work with the managing partner and the board on strategic plans, development of the annual business plan and financial budgets.
  • Build relationships with key people across the firm to ensure the finance team is in tune with the business and provides high levels of service.
  • Manage, supervise, motivate, and support the Finance team.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:

  • A board level CFO with a good working knowledge of professional services firms and a capacity to develop a practical sense of finance requirements in a regulated environment.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (10 years PQE).
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. A flexible and adaptable team player who supports, promotes, develops, and motivates others.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and outcome-orientated with a can-do attitude.
  • Able to exploit opportunities to network and promote the firm both internally and across business and professional sectors.
