This position offers hybrid working (with 3 days in the office), flexible start and finish times, a competitive package, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.We are working with a well-established organisation within the healthcare industry, seeking a Finance Manager (Operations) to join their team on a 6-month contract (strong potential for extension). This is an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the business, driving financial performance and contributing to operational success. The ideal Finance Manager will have the opportunity to join a respected organisation where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the business. You’ll work on high-visibility projects, collaborate with senior leaders, and gain valuable experience so a great opportunity to add value.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsibilities will include:
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to verify the accuracy of financial data during month-end reporting.
  • Drive efficient and accurate management and financial reporting, aligning with company standards.
  • Oversee transfer pricing and inventory accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Highly involved in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for multiple business entities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the balance sheet, identifying and resolving any inconsistencies.
  • Manage and support a small finance team of two staff members.
  • Lead various projects and handle additional tasks that arise to improve business performance.
What you will need:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in manufacturing or import/export sectors would be ideal.
  • Previous exposure to larger international organisations is highly beneficial
  • Prior experience in managing a small team
