A varied role, Key duties to include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function for the group with a small team of finance assistants.
- Strong in reconciliation work
- Production of monthly accounts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Reconciling monthly balance sheet packs.
- Report on variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance.
- Profit and Loss analysis, budget sheets, cash flow.
- Accurately process accruals and prepayments.
- Review and challenge accuracy of Deposit, Guest and Sales Ledgers.
- Bank and Control account reconciliations and Income Audit.
- Develop and maintain sound financial controls and processes.
- Assist in payroll preparation and reporting.
- Produce and transmit the monthly payroll via payroll bureau.
- Ensure timely billing, cash settlement and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained with accuracy and to deadline.
- Assist with the annual audit process.
- Working with the Group FC in the timely and accurate production of accounts
Qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience of working in the finance team in the hotel or hospitality sector.
