REED Finance are working with a prestigious and dynamic company to find a Finance Manager / Financial Controller for their Southampton Office.

Based in central Southampton. This is an on-site role, expecting you to be in office Monday-Friday.

There is parking on-site and ideally situated for public transport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-round Accountant with experience of all aspects of accounting and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the management team, the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Production of monthly management accounts, P&L, B/S and C/F
  • Production of cash, revenue and cost reports
  • Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance
  • Ensure timely client billing, cash settlement and ledger maintenance
  • Bank and Control account reconciliations
  • Purchase ledger and payment of suppliers
  • Payroll analysis and processing – from bureau reports
  • Attend monthly business review meetings
  • Ensure finance is run to period-end timetables and all financial records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
  • Produce and analyse annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Assisting with the annual audit process

IT EXPERIENCE:

Microsoft Office with Excel, Sageline 200
