Reed Finance are looking a Head of Finance for an esteemed Hospitality Venue.
This role will suit a qualified accountant ideally with a hotels and hospitality, events, catering or golf background.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Co-ordination and generation of budgets and forecasts,
- Preparation of Board Finance Report.
- Weekly wage and revenue analysis.
- Reviewing business financial performance.
- Oversee working capital, including billing and collection and debtor management.
- Business Partner to the Hotel General Manager, Director of Golf and other key Heads of Department.
- Management of fixed asset registers.
- Responsibility for oversight and review of monthly Hotel & Golf payroll.
- Dealing with HMRC returns and enquiries.
- Liaison with auditors and managing the annual audit process.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified member of an accountancy body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or holder of an equivalent qualification)Â
- Experience of working in the Hotel, Hospitality, Catering, Events, Golf & Leisure sectors is desirable
- Experience of producing accounts, KPIs and reports at Board level
- Successful track record of leading a finance function
Skills & Knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user
- Desirable to have previous experience working with POS systems and Property Management Systems
