Reed Finance are looking a Head of Finance for an esteemed Hospitality Venue.

This role will suit a qualified accountant ideally with a hotels and hospitality, events, catering or golf background.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Co-ordination and generation of budgets and forecasts,
  • Preparation of Board Finance Report.
  • Weekly wage and revenue analysis.
  • Reviewing business financial performance.
  • Oversee working capital, including billing and collection and debtor management.
  • Business Partner to the Hotel General Manager, Director of Golf and other key Heads of Department.
  • Management of fixed asset registers.
  • Responsibility for oversight and review of monthly Hotel & Golf payroll.
  • Dealing with HMRC returns and enquiries.
  • Liaison with auditors and managing the annual audit process.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified member of an accountancy body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or holder of an equivalent qualification) 
  • Experience of working in the Hotel, Hospitality, Catering, Events, Golf & Leisure sectors is desirable
  • Experience of producing accounts, KPIs and reports at Board level
  • Successful track record of leading a finance function

Skills & Knowledge

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user
  • Desirable to have previous experience working with POS systems and Property Management Systems
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
