A leading privately owned contractor based in the south coast is seeking an experienced construction biased Administrator to join their business. This is a excellent opportunity to join a regional business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Administrator will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Office Manager.



About the role of Administrator

This regional contractor traditionally specialises multidisciplinary projects, across education, health & industrial new builds, refurbishments & heavy civils schemes valuing up to 30M across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role of Administrator will be joining a immediate team of four people and be based in their office in, Hampshire.



Responsibilities for Administrator

  • Responsible for overseeing project documentations as and when required
  • Day to day responsibilities are very much admin focused with significant amounts of data entry and coordination
  • Stock purchasing and stock takes
  • Coordinating delivery to site
  • Invoicing and receipts
  • Generating and circulating different reports
  • Updating master spreadsheets
  • Heavily involved in site communications
  • Does all the driver license check for site
  • Analysing labour actual and timesheets


Requirements for Administrator

  • Previous experience within the construction industry is fundamental
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft packages and excel
