A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and skilled Handypersonto join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles. Based in Southampton, you will join them on a full-time, permanentbasis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £15 per hour and excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities as the Handypersonwill include:

  • Carrying out checks to circa eleven thousand doors within the halls of residence, identifying all remedials works to ensure each individual door is compliant with current regulations. There will also be times when you need to support the day-to-day reactive repairs, carrying out small task such clearing blockages, being a second man and other minor installation works.

What the company are looking for in their Handyperson:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
  • Extremely organized with good communication skills.
  • Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working with a PDA
  • CSCS Card (Desirable)
  • Full clean driving licence
  • A good understand of working in the Property Maintenance environment.
