NDT Inspector (Level 2) - Aerospace Industry
Interesting new opportunity within this established aerospace precision engineering company as they develop their NDT capabilities. We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector with Level 2 certification in magnetic particle inspection to join this successful manufacturing team in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aerospace components to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform magnetic particle inspections on aerospace components to detect surface and near-surface defects.
- Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the quality and integrity of materials.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while conducting inspections.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in NDT technology.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 certification in magnetic particle inspection
- Previous experience working in the aerospace industry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
